Hello all,
Can any one brief me about ITIL certification...
1.wats its use and how different is this certification from other certifications??
2.who can do this certification??
3.wats the cost of it and duration of it??
4.can a fresher do this certification???

Hi Priya,

I personally suggest you to go for ITILv3. Because industry always prefer latest version.

Main difference between ITILv2 and ITILv3 is "ITILv2 was consisting of two modules i.e. Service support and Service delivery which is replaced in ITILv3 by Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement".

I want to do ITIL Foundation Level Certification , can sombody help me out which one should i do -i mean ITIL foundation V2 or ITIL Foundation V3.

Wat are the main differences ? Do they have different scope?

Are thses specific to a particular role?

Which one has better future?
