Test Case of Stationary Request Scenario:->

Test Steps:->
pre requisite: required stationary / book should be available in the shop
1. Go to shop site / directly shop
2. Ask for the required book
3. Provide some details for the book

Verify :- Book seller should be able to provide you book
Hi Shirish,

Thaks for the reply.

But this not like book or something. This is a kind of requesting stationery items like(scribling pad, pencil) within the organization to the admin department.

After raise a requst if we receive all the items we will give the status as Received otherwise Not Received like that.

If you have any idea on this to write positive or negative scenarios pls help me.,

Hi chitra,

There are different techniques to create diff scenarios,
Here is the list of some tech.
1.Decision Table
2.Use Case based testing
3.State Transition
4.Cause Effect Graph
5.OATS (Orthogonal Array Testing Strategy)
etc.

hi chitra,
+ve test case:-
1. User request for a pen/pad/pensil
2. Request gets approved
3. Admin person marks the entry in register for it before dilevery.

Verify:- User receives the required item.

-ve test case-
1. User request for a pen/pad/pensil
2. Request gets approved
3. Admin person does not mark the entry in register for it before dilevery.

Verify:- User still gets required item.

Above test case is placed as an example!
Chitra, I hope with the help of this you can develop rest of the +ve and -ve test cases.........

This would be a good exercise for you! :)
