For the past four years i'm been doing only functional testing, its boring now and want to learn few more things
like automation (QTP, LR) or DB Testing or Security Testing.
Please give me your advice ? what to do so as to have a good stable future.
Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.
A simple example of cloud computing is Yahoo email or Gmail etc. You dont need a software or a server to use them. All a consumer would need is just an internet connection and you can start sending emails. The server and email management software is all on the cloud ( internet) and is totally managed by the cloud service provider Yahoo , Google etc.

hi Amira , from my knowledge we are using gmail , yahoo par the past 10 years ( i guess) but recently we hearing cloud computing.If those mail server use this technology ,then y we r not aware of this technology early yrs? Plz reply
Cloud computing is a kind of figuring that depends on sharing processing assets instead of having nearby servers or individual gadgets to handle applications. Distributed computing is equivalent to matrix registering, a sort of figuring where unused handling cycles of all PCs in a system are bridles to take care of issues excessively concentrated for any stand-alone machine.

Cloud computing is anything that is stored over the internet that can be used anywhere by anyone. Cloud computing is a very vague term and does not redirect to any specific way. We can divide the services provided by cloud computing in below categories.
1. IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service): Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a form of cloud computing that provides virtualized computing resources over the internet.
2. PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service): PaaS functions at a lower level than SaaS, typically providing a platform on which software can be developed and deployed.
3. SaaS (Software-as-a-Service): Software as a service (SaaS) is a software distribution model in which a third-party provider hosts applications and makes them available to customers over the Internet.
4. Cloud computing also include but not limited to Storage, Database, Information, Process, Application, Integration, Security, Management, Testing-as-a-service
Difference between IaaS and PaaS is: The key distinguishing feature between an IaaS and a PaaS is the type of service offered. In an IaaS customers typically work with virtual machines that they configure themselves; in a PaaS customers work with services created and maintained by the PaaS provider.
