QA process mean verification of any Product . QA is best carried out on process while QC is best carried out on product.
QA is apply every stage of SDLC while QC (Tester) at end of some development process.
This is simple difference.

Ya concise defn...thnx
QA process Depending on the size and type of QA activities required, planning topics can include those listed below:

1. Quality objectives, in measurable terms

2. Types of test and verification and validation (V&V) activities

3. Entry and exit criteria for project lifecycle phases

4. Responsibilities of the QA group

5. Resource and training requirements for the QA group or function

6. Scheduling, budgeting and funding of QA activities

7. QA participation in development of project plans, standards, and procedures

8. Process evaluations and audits to be performed by QA

9. Product and service audits and reviews to be conducted by QA

10. Standards and procedures used for QA

11. Documenting and tracking noncompliance issues, and the escalation procedure

12. Documentation that QA establishes, maintains, and controls over the life of the project through delivery

13. Method, audience, and frequency of providing feedback on QA activities

This procedure covers Process and Product Quality Assurance process describes how to prepare evaluation reports, non-compliance reports, QA reports, corrective actions and the status reports of the same.
The main objective of QA Process is -
-Objectively evaluating performed processes, work products, and services against the standards and procedures.
-Identify and document non-compliance issues.
-Providing feedback on project staff and managers on quality assurance activities.
-Ensuring non-compliance issues are addressed.
Following points should follow in the PPQA Process (Process and Product Quality Assurance)
• Entry Criteria
• Detailed Activities
o Establishment of PPQA group (which is part of SEPG)
o Prepare and release Annual PPQA Audit Plan
o Prepare detailed PPQA Audit schedule for the month
o Prepare for PPQA Audit
o Conduct PPQA Audit
o Prepare NCR
o Send PPQA Audit Observation Report and/or NCR to SEPG and Auditee
o Identify CA/PA
o Send PPQA Audit Observation Report and/or NCR to SEPG
o Take CA/PA
o Verify CA/PA
o Prepare PPQA Audit Report (Part of SEPG Report) for the month
o Escalate to Sr. Mgmt about pending NCs
• Verification
• Entry Criteria
Sandip and Hitesh Explain very Well..

Hello,

For quality and unique QA process, approach, methods, and techniques please discuss with Testrig Technologies, leading QA Services providers in the USA, Who are committed to offering all kinds of QA solutions such as in the form of mobile application testing services, website testing services, etc...

For better QA process connect today...

As per the best practice of functional testing services, Below is the QA process to test the application thoroughly before exposing it for public access.

Process followed:
Whenever a new build deployed, The QA team will firstly execute the Smoke test on the latest build and will send the report for the same.

Smoke Test Passed
1. After executing the smoke test team will then regress the feature and defects that are fixed in current build.
2. Once the regression completed with the status Closed team will then create/update the existing test cases related to fixed defect regression
3. QA team will then execute the complete test cycle on the latest build and report defects [Bug Reporting Tool] that encountered during functional test cycle execution

Smoke Test Failed
1. QA team will send the Smoke test report within an hour to Dev/Client/OnShore team that build is getting failed on the latest build.
2. Till the build issues not get fixed QA team will create test cases as per the new feature or refactoring the existing test cases in Bug Tracking Tool.

Regression Testing
1. Once the smoke testing is done then QA moves to the regression testing for the fixed defects for the build.
2. During the regression of the fixed defects, QA Team ensures that fix is working fine and nothing new is broken due to the fix. All this is tracked and done through the Bug Tracking Tool.
Functional Testing
Functional testing is a quality assurance process and a type of black-box testing that bases its test cases on the specifications of the software component under test

1. QA Team is performing the functional testing of the product. For this, the test cases execution is performed through the Bug tracking tool for each release.
2. QA Team regularly sends the report on the functional coverage status of the product.

Ad-hoc Testing
Ad hoc testing is a commonly used term for software testing performed without planning and documentation but can be applied to early scientific experimental studies.

- Apart from the conventional functional testing QA Team is also performing ad hoc testing of the product to ensure that all the intricate scenarios which might not be covered under the functional test case execution to better cover the product.

Extra tasks
* If QA team have free test cycle and no project in a row then we perform the following tasks for the client delivery:

1. Refactoring of test cases.
2. Continue with Ad-hoc testing and report defects in the bug tracking tool.
