Failure

Thanks Bodige Sreenivas. Could you please explain the difference between the above (Failure, Mistake, Error, Fault)?

In a Software Application Life Cycle we have-

1) Development Phase- in this phase if developers find ant mismatch, they call it as - Error or Mistake

2) Testing Phase in this phase if Testers find any mismatch, they call it as - Defect or Bug or Fault

3) Production Phase - in this phase if user find any mismatch, they call it as - Failure.
