Quality is delighting customers
There are different types of regression testing to perform to check your website is working properly even after the implementation of new code or new features. You can also refer to the regression testing companies' process to execute all the steps to perform unique and quality regression testing services.
Today I would like to suggest some types of regression testing which will be helpful to you…
Different Types of Regression Testing
To know more about the regression testing types you can refer the online tutorial, tools, or course it may be helpful to execute more…
As per quality assurance company, Regression testing is performed to re-verify the existing features, when a new change happened [either it is related to new code or new feature added, any maintenance.. etc] in product can impact the existing functionality of the product.
Basically it helps to get our self into confidence that a new change has effected the existing features or not.
For an instance, In regression test we cover almost all P1, P2 and P3 scenarios [based on requirement] and while re-verifying if get any bug in previous features
and that bug occurred just because of newly implemented feature then it shows a new feature has broken the existing functionality.
Types of Regression Testing:
1. Retest All the Regression Tests:
This includes all the P1, P2 and P3 test scenarios. That means to verify each and every single test scenario to avoid the chance of any failure. But this is a bit time consuming.
2. Selective Regression Testing:
This includes to re-verify only those selected parts/features which can be affected due to implementation of new code.
3. Unit Testing:
This basically done on module basis. For example: If any new code implemented for particular module then only that module will be tested in isolation.
