Hi sagar,

i said yes and the advantages of walk through is:

Early defect detection and correction
Development productivity improvements
Reduced development timescales
Reduced testing cost and time
Lifetime cost reduction

Fewer defects

if we move through the definition then I would say no to tester

because this walk-through is lead by Author(developer of documents or application) and reviewer take part in it and these are the people who has specific expertise in their domain.

But when we talk about its orientation of walk-though then we can say that tester should also be included because this helps them to understand the product properly.

Since Walk-through is a review process and due to this its early implementaion is very important for the success of product because a lot of static testing is made by going through the code and workflow.

What are you trying to walkthrough?

Advantages of Tester Walkthrough ?

a) start to end to improve the business skills...

b) Times are less in testing... Because already know well in business knowledge

c) Some Defect are identify to earlier part is well..

d) Discussion already finished earlier.. Only goal TEST

Disadvantages of Walk-through the Tester ?

1) Tester Unwanted discussion provide in Earlier part... Because this is thinking only problematically the system..

2) Tester walk-through the knowledge get in earlier... Sometimes missed to the test in negative functionality... does not think broadly... only the test static

3) System testing is not going correctly
