Difference betwween the priority & Severity of a bug.

Please explain with one case where priority is high but severity is low & one case where severity is high but priority is Low.

Priority means how quickly a defects needs to be fixed and Severity is impact of the defect on application.
Priority driven by Business and Severity driven by technical specification.

Example: Priority high and severity low
Logo of the company is wrong on home page.

Low priority and high severity
recognitions can not be added on the site through control panel which is not going to be used by client once in a while.
