Hi Satish
Ui part of the application in the sense,we have to check the alignment of the text, color of the text and lables and links are properly placed in the application are not..and when resizing the window the application is properly working or not .these all things comes under UI ..
1:
UI-User interface
UI testing like proper text alignment, spelling mistake, popup message, popup window size, background color, message text, exception message, tool tip, logical arrangement of menu or submenu etc.
Risk meanse what u had observe in software,at the particular point, software can crash
2:Test plan need:

For timeline
3:Ya i am looking for change,no its not lke that,i learn lot of things from my company, but some reason(u can explain) like some reason
like new technology
or like more growth
Q1. UI document contains Screens of the application. based on requirement environment you should test screens with browsers on required environments. If client requires more than one browser then you should test on different version and diff type of browsers.
UI document contains text alignments, text color, script errors on diff browsers, popup mesage/ warning mesage alignment

Q2. Yes Even you are doing random or adhoc testing, you should have test plan. Because you should have to execute High priority test cases, major funcationlity tstcases, Environmental testcases, Schedule the test time, and Scope of the applciation

Q3. Company has more growth. (if you went interview for another lcoation job) want to change the location..(if you went to banking domain company ) interesting to work on banking domains, ( if you went to product company ) intresting to work on product based company like that

Satish,

1.what UI document contains?how do u test UI part of the application? what type risks u faced?

UI Document contains, description about mock-up screens, design variations etc etc.

Start from Top left to right bottom, check the UI Standards followed in the organization.

Design changes which are not easily base lined.

2)if ur following random process what is the need of writing test plan?

To Check whether the random process is on track or not

3)y r u looking for a change?u don't have the growth in that company?

Growth is not the only factor for change. There are couple of reasons for change. Better environment, change in technology.
