Dis is the question i faced in Four Soft Interview.Did u attended dat interview ?

what were ur answers

I wrote the scenarios for that(usability user interface and functionality).But im not shortlisted.The girl who wrote Test Cases for that has been shorlisted.

get those TC's from her and compare the diff between urs and her

Inbox :

To verify whether "List of Messages " are displayed or not
To verify whether "No Message "alert is displayed or not ( if inbox is empty)
To Verify whether "Unread Message" are differentiate with different color
To verify whether "Message are listed based on Descending order or not
To verify whether Sender name is displayed properly or not
To verify whether Sender Phone number is displayed properly with country code( if Phone number is not saved in Contacts)
To Verify whether "Message icon " symbol is displayed or not
To verify whether Half of the message content is displayed properly or not

Outbox: 

1)Verify the messages which has large attachment and in process for sending should be in Outbox.

2)Verify the messages whose process of sending mails is completed should not not be in outbox, it should be in sent box.

Drafts:

1)Verify an email draft is a copy of an unfinished email. you can finish writing it by opening it from your drafts folder.

2)Validate one email writing is dfinished and it successfully send then it should not be in draft,it will be present in Sent items.

Call Register:

Received Calls:

1)Verify once you received the call the entry should be made in call registers Received call with correct date and time (If date and time is saved)

2)Verify once you dialed the number from received call should be connect properly and the no. should be updated in dialled section also.

3)Verify once you go in option and delete the number from received call it should be deleted successfully.

4)Verify and validate whether you can save the number from received call section via using option Use number-->save

number.

Dialed Calls:

1)Verify once you dialed the call the entry should be made in call registers dialed numbers with correct date and time (If date and time is saved)

2)Verify once you dialed the number from dialed call list then it should be connect properly and the no. should be updated in dialled section with updated date and time.

3)Verify once you go in option and delete the number from dialed call list  it should be deleted successfully.

4)Verify and validate whether you can save the number from dialed call section via using option Use number-->save

number.

5)Verify you can message the no.

Missed Call:

1)Verify once you receive missed call the entry should be made in call registers missed call with correct date and time (If date and time is saved)

2)Verify you can open the no. and able to dialled the number from missed call.

4)Verify you can delete the no.

5)Verify you can save the number

6)Verify you can message the no.

These are the basic scenarios..... and it can be many :).
