I had used Firebug add-in integrated with Yslow. Its a tremondous tool for testing the GUI level object.its gives clear picture of all the dom objects,javascripts,CSS & images size details with processing time.If one more want to test the perfromacne of the GUI ,then yslow tool will addup more flavours to it.

I have little list of my firefox addons. here it is,
1). Extended Statusbar
Adds an Opera-like statusbar that shows:
- percentage of the page loaded,
- number of loaded images,
- bytes downloaded,
- average download speed,
- load time.

3).Flagfox

Resize your browser to various standard resolution sizes.
