Quality is delighting customers

The site I have to test has a lot of drop downs and when i record the test Even though the values in the drop downs are recorded, the values i select from the drop down are not recorded. Can I know the reason for this and a solution for this issue

JMeter acts on HTTP protocol level therefore it doesn't actually "clicks" buttons or "chooses" the values from the drop-downs, it sends HTTP Requests, waits for responses and measures time in-between and some other metrics.

So in order to validate your test run it with 1 virtual user and observe requests and responses details in the View Results Tree listener.  Well-behaved JMeter test should send the same requests as real browser does (look into "Network" tab if your browser's developer tools) to see what is going on under the hood of your test scenario
