Hi,

You can try following commands to reset the default protractor timeout(further details are here: qa testing services):

  • browser.driver.manage().timeouts().setScriptTimeout(milliseconds);
  • browser.driver.manage().timeouts().setScriptTimeout(browser.allScriptsTimeout);

In Chrome browser, to disable the watch mode so that tests do not rerun each time whenever there are changes:
In your Protractor configuration file, u need to modify the capabilities entry in our protractor.conf file to include a chromeOptions object like this:

chromeOptions: { args: [ "--headless" ] },

Add "--headless" command as argument to run Chrome in headless mode.
