A test summary report indicates the status of the testing done. It gives an overall idea about the testing activities done from start till the end for the release.

It may include the following:

Project Name

Version

Build Release date

Start and End dates of test execution

Number of test cases executed

Number of test cases passed

Number of test cases failed

Number of bugs reported, issue id and status

Comments/ Question if any

Test summary report gives the status of testing done by us.It contains summary of test activities and final test results such as number of modules tested, bugs detected, number of pass cases or fail cases,etc.It also contains test strategies or objectives.
