Can some one Pls tell me what are jar files and locators in selenium..

Hi Raja,

Jar files are the files to distribute Java applications or libraries, in the form of Java class files, selenium jar files are like framework for selenium.

Locators: Locators are the objects of the application, which selenium uses for identification.

"a locator for identifying a UI element within a page" - defination from Selenium Docs

you want to work with selenium you need to configure below mentioned jar files in ecklipse or intellij4
1) selenium-server.jar 2) selenium-java-client.jar 3) junit 4.8.2 4) jxl.jar

there are 3 types of locators using selenium,i will send you the document very soon.
