Deepak,

We have the following practices which yeilded us results,

1) Dev Integration Testing Team - SWAT testers

2) End user point of Tesitng

3) Test Patterns - a) Rigorous Requirements analysis b) Test Environment Setup by Testers(DIT) c) Test Data preparation by QA d) Release management by QA(DIT).

Thanks,

Siddiq

Thanks Abu,

As per my understanding and what you mentioned there is a gateway or check point when one stage moves to next stage, my opinion, is there any way you can bring down these gateways so that the you can increase the Retrun On Investement. Just a suggest!!!!

I am looking for practice or approach which rellly cuts down the review process, as invovling Man and Material would result more to Money.

Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers,

Deepak

Deepak,

Your point is right, but the gateway will only Manage the teams and it's required.

Teams across are from different verticals(almost different companies). Let me check the feasibility if I have implement your heed.

If you are willing for approach then it's Agile obviously. Reviewing some one else work is a crime in Agile. As the belief is every one are equally talented.

Agile helps in increased client/customer interaction with dev and qa teams...thus decreasing the interfaces amongst.

Thanks,

Siddiq

Good call but I hope you will not going to implement Agile as it will be complete head back (kidding).

Well seems like I need to change to update the subject, so that more and more people can participate.

Currently we implemented as internal webpage, so that any changes will be posted there and what the different activites are going on, we asked people to comment on those and every EOD we try to gather information so as to see what good things can be implemented and whats are gaps other guys encountered so fill those gaps for best result.

We have seen good improvement over period of time, and expecting more and more in future.

Cheers,

Deepak
