M-eux Test from jamo solutions, and CountDown from Besquare are the good automation tools for mobile apps. testing.
You can use emulators and simulate varius testing scenarios for your applications, but I find this method very inaccurate compared to a real device.

You can use services like Perfecto Mobile (http://www.perfectomobile.com) or DA, which gives you online access to real mobile devices, and have a designated tool for creating automation scripts.

As far as I know, PM offers a free 1-hour trial, so I think it's worth a check.
Small developers can use emulators and such. But when it comes to enterprises the only 2 valid options are either building (or outsourcing) a designated mobile testing team to execute manual testing across multiple devices or, for the more advanced testers among us, use a cloud-based solution and automation environment and script usage scenarios on multiple devices for scalable regression and functional testing. PM also offers QTP/QC integration and enhanced security features especially for pre-launch stages.
Device anywhere are bigger than Perfecto but they are MUCH more expensive and to my opinion their solution falls behind (required client download that takes forever...).
It's hard to come across interesting topics such as this one in a professional level, I would love to hear more input from other QA experts out there

Most of the OS have there own tool to test Mobile apps. even you want to test you apps for third party tool thn i would sugg. you to go with QTP.
