New Tester

Hi everybody,
I am new to testing ,can any body suggest me how to start with testing .How to prepare the test cases .
Please help me in doing testing.

Even I am new to this field and started my career only two months ago. I come from electronics background and hence had no knowledge regarding software. But then I realized that in order to be a good tester you got to think from end user perspective. You should just play with the software at your disposal as if it is a new game that you are learning. You should make sure that nothing in software is complicated. Everything is simple so that end user can easily understand. Testing is an art my friend and you got to be innovative. And as soon as you get the feel of software regarding what it does and what it is supposed to do you will learn how to prepare test cases.
