Writing test plan in QC is not the same as test plan Document.. actually QC has a Tab named Test plan .. all of the test cases are generated in that tab of the tool.. so here in this tab basically after converting the requirement in test case we…

Few things,
Why do you want to write Test Plan in QC? pick up IEEE Standard test plan template and start authoring.
You can't write Test Plan in QC.
