Hi Satish,
Selenium is a Open source tool & has many advantages as compared to the QTP. It is also a Functional Testing tool.You can automate it using Java/C#/Perl/PHP/Python/Ruby programming. The most advantage of Selenium Tool is you cant automate it an all Browsers whereas using QTP you can automate it only in I.E.Browser.There is a good documentation of Selenium in this site http://seleniumhq.org/docs/. I have the idea of Selenium IDE & Selenium RC. If you need any help in Installation please let me now. But read the documentation once.
I am learning QTP & Selenium parallely.I need your help in VB Scripting. I want to learn VB Scripting from scratch.If you have got any good study material on VB Scripting & QTP frameworks please forward it to me to this email id chandanakki@gmail.com & please share your experience on QTP tool.
