Planning: Verifying the mission of testing, defining the objectives, Establish Test Plane and make estimation
Control: Measuring and analyzing results

Evaluate functional requirements and use-cases to create functional test cases.
Implementation and execution
Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrix and scripts if needed
Identify the critical paths (different test scenarios) for the purpose of regression/system testing.
Applying different types of Testing
Functional testing: Security testing, Interoperability testing, Black Box Testing
Non-functional testing: Usability, reliability, maintainability, portability
Testing related to changes: Confirmation testing (retesting) and regression testing
Use defect-tracking tool to upload the defects in the application,
Evaluating exit criteria and reporting
Checking test logs against exit criteria
Writing a test summary report
Test closure activities
Collecting and consolidating data on the testing project.
