I am new to load testing. I have installed jmeter 2.7 in my system.

But I am unable to record any applications using jmeter. I have followed all the steps given in jemeter manual, but still not able to record anything. Can anyone pls help me.

I think I have to do some change in proxy settings. But not sure how to do it. My system does not have JDK instaled in it...
