I will put forward the technique done to estimate the testing project.
first we identify the number of test scenarios and keep some time for completing the total scenarios depending on how much minutes/hours for each scenario.
then we identify the number of test cases and then divide them into complex,medium and low and we mention that 15-20 complex scripts can be written per day, 20-25 medium scripts and 25-30 low scripts can be written.
then the following formulae can be taken to arrive at the man-hours/days
for ex: 60 complex, 30 medium, 10 low)
(total number of complex/15)/total number of resources
(total number of medium/20)/total number of resources
(total number of low/25)/total number of resources

after this, estimation can also be given for regression testing and how many cycles we r going to conduct

There is TPA method for test estimation.

Hi, i'd like to know how to estimate a testing project?, however I know that each project are wide different between them, but I guess, there are always a rules or something in common to following.
