Yes, Agile is one of the best SD methodologies.
Great benefit of it is constant customer feedback.
Actually term 'Agile' never stands alone - The actual methodologies are Scrum, XP, Xp-Hybrid, Scum being the most popular one.
Agile-Scrum is well organized way of planning, where every task is divided to the modular level. Communication & Collaboration is the requirement & benefit of Agile.

Absolutely. As many other experts have told me, working in Agile teams is great because there's typically only the most intersting stuff (defects) to find. No dumb bugs.

Yes, It is useful for complete product including QA but from QA perspective, you have early deliverables to be tested. As the product matures, the testing would gradually grow from component level to Integration to System level. You dont have to wait for complete documents. The defect cycle is short.

But there are some disadvantages.
- Sometime deliverable to be tested are just to fast. So you and program manager need to plan carefully
- Automation can get a hit because requirements and thus functionality can change very oftem

Agile has both advantages and disadvantages for QA.

in Agile process QA plays a key role compared to developer.he will be the part of the application development from starting of SRS specification.As every one know it better depends on iterations QA need to make sure all the bugs are fixed and the module is put into production.QA never has time in agile methodology and any thing wrong happens QA is shown as responsible.

Agile is preferred because every company can show case what they have done for particular day,week,month for the client
