Problems with Selenium IDE and Firefox - Continually have to reinstall the Selenium IDE add-on

I have an issue where every time I execute Selenium IDE on FireFox, I have to reinstall the add-on. Has anyone experienced this problem on Linux, and if so, how did you solve the problem.
