Need automation tool for Flex based web application?

Flex automation is not as straight forward. Look out for FlexMonkey if it suites your needs.

Original Software sells a test automation tool called TestDrive. The newest release of the software TestDrive V7 now supports Flex and Flash applications. This tool also supports scripting in multiple browsers. TestDrive is a code-free application that executes "full-content analysis" and "busy sense" technology. Scripts are "self-healing' for easy maintenance.

 

TestDrive also support Dynamic Manual testing as well. Manual tests can be converted to automated regression tests with the click of a mouse button.

           QTP can be used for flex. I am from oracle. here for automation we are using QTP only. :)
