Hi Kusuma & All,

It is a very good & interesting topic to discuss.

Right now I am working on a Window Based Smart Card Security Application. To test this software, we have to use all possible environments. See the list now :)

Servers :
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
Citrix Presentation Server 4.0

Operating System :
Windows - 2003 Server SP1
Windows - XP - SP - 2 and SP - 3 (X86 & X32)
Windows - Vista SP1 (X86 & X32)
Windows - 2008 Core Server

Browser (For SSL Authentication) :
Internet Explorer - 6 & 7 (X86 & X32)
Mozilla Firefox - 2 & 3
Netscape Browser
Safari

Mail Clients (For Secure E-Mails & Digital Signature) :
Microsoft Outlook - 2000, 2003-SP1, SP2 & SP-3, 2007
Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0
Netscape Mail Client

Bug Management :
Quality Center 9.2
JIRA (Open Source Tool)
Change Synergy (Client's own Reporting Tool)

I know its a long list and not easy to digest, but really we simply got fed up many time by swapping between OS, Creating & Restoring Images, troubleshooting of Servers...... Can't explain :O

I hope this will let you know @ the different Environments. Let me know if you requires more details.

Please feel free to ask me any doubts regarding Software Testing & ISTQB Certification anytime.
