What is ETL Testing ? How it is related to Java Testing

ETL testing is similar to like Data base testing.ETL Processes like extraction, loading, and transformation.
Java based application testing is block box testing. in block box testing can test functional and non functional testing.
ETL and java Testing, both are different.

Hi.

ETL means Extraction,Transaction and Loading.It is nothing but data warehouse. If the ETL testing will start in the hierarchical model. If the project is java based or .net based what ever it is the back-end will be the database so the databases are to be maintained in  data warehouse. these application are in Java only the data warehouse supports only java applications so test engineers will test the java applications like the ETL also test using same techniques.

by using the testing techniques for java application testing the same techniques are used to test ETL tools testing also.
