Test Plan in QC?

Is it possible to upload or write a test plan in QC?

If yes then how?plz help fast its urgent

My employer has ask me to do that but my senior co-worker says that it is not possible.

Few things,

Why do you want to write Test Plan in QC? pick up IEEE Standard test plan template and start authoring.

You can't write Test Plan in QC.

Writing test plan in QC is not the same as test plan Document.. actually QC has a Tab named Test plan .. all of the test cases are generated in that tab of the tool.. so here in this tab basically after converting the requirement in test case we design the test in either of the approach Manually or Automated..

Hi,

First u install the excel add ins present in QC,then you will get the option upload to TD of ur excel sheet under tools.Then click on tools..then rest is self explanatory u follow the steps u will find.
Give the path name in QC,in which folder structure u want to keep ur test cases in a column for each test case.

But inorder to upload we nedd to convert the excel test cases to a readable format by QC .
