Quality Testing

Quality is delighting customers

Hi Testers,

Have any body worked on this Test Driven Development(TDD) Approach. If so do share your thoughts & how you involved your-self init.

I know it something to do with developement, but i guess a lot of testers here would have worked in it.

Awating for your response!!!!

Hi Ragav,

TDD is a development methodology. Testing has to be conducted during the development phase as an integral part.

1) Unit Testing and Integration Testing using White Box Testing Techniques
2) Static testing techniques to be implemented on documents and code
3) Defect advocacy to reduce turn around time
4) Defect triage to prioritize business needs
5) Interface to reduce turn around time between Dev, system test, UAT and stake holders.

This can be achieved by having Dev Integration Team.

I heard of a testing activity where testers run through the code and log defects, which is much better.

Thanks
Siddiq
TDD means doing development with a testing perspective.
It means you write the testcases / scenarios for the given piece of requirement and develop yur code accordingly.
Thus helping you as a developer to eliminate or mitigate the number of bugs found in the QA phase.

It is a Development strategy and not testing.
