Syntax testing Vs LCSAJ

Syntax testing is a black box testing where LCSAJ (Linear Code Sequence and Jump) is white box testing. LCSAJ is totally related to programme code thats why it comes under White box testing.

To very Syntax, is it necessary to execute code? BBT is about verify the executed code right?

Syntax testing is not about executing code. Its like data driven testing tech.
