Does Learning Silk Test Automation tool have the future or not ?

Hi manoj kumar,

Silk Test Automation Tool is the one which is comeing up in software market.
so it is advantage that if you know the tool.. i am meaning in terms of future..

Note:
Upto my knowledge if you know any one functional testing/Performance testing tool.. that is highly enough..
Because in all automation tool the concept is same but available options are different...

This is a precise statement.
I would recommend every manual testing person to at leats know the working of any 1 automation tool.
As far as future is concerned the industry is moving towards hi tech end. namely Silverlight, Smart Clients, Ajax, flex, javaFx and it would be good to know anyone tool that can give you insight into the tools.
Silk as a matter of fact is good and with new mereger with testpartner it is even going to become more powerful.

Looking at the Microsoft's move into Automation Arena with CodedUI in VSTS 2010 its evident that Microsoft has gauged the potential in this market.
