Selenium --The Play current test cases and entire buttons are disabled

Hi Friends,

Today when i started recording in selenium IDE in perl language for a web based application,could see the script got recorded in the IDE under source but unable to play/run the script.The Play current test cases and entire buttons are disabled.I couldn't find how to enable the buttons in it.Please help me in this regard.

observation: when change the format to HTML(from Perl),the buttons are enabled

Hi... Only HTML code can be run directly from IDE, for any other language it will be disabled as said by you.

To run the prel, java code etc... we have to do that via command mode(meaning RC should work for this)
