Requirements document is not available then how to check completeness of all functionalities in testing?

Hi All,

It is easy to trace functionality when SRS/ BRD/ Any other requirement document is provided but when none of these are available then how we can trace all functionalites in Traceability Matrix. How we should design matrix for such cases to assure coverage of all functionalites in testing.

Your question makes no sense to me...! Completeness of Functionality in reference of Requirement document ..? what do you mean by it ...???

okay .... coming to the topic... the Primary purpose of RTM is to make it sure that We are going to cover each and every requirement ( however It also helps in several other things including RCA ) .. so when Requirement doesn't exist in written form is there any need to cover it..??
