3 - 4 examples of low priority and high severity...??

IS INSTALLATION BUG is a high severity bug???
Permalink Reply by Behbood Hussain on November 28, 2011 at 8:10am It depends. Does the installation console successfully complete installation? or does it end in a crash or a non-install of the application? If it is the latter, then it is a Severity 1 Priority 1 defect. Issues of such nature need to be fixed ASAP.
Permalink Reply by Hitesh Shah on November 28, 2011 at 8:37am Suppose some java script error or other kind of error comes once in month or some time then we can say low priority and high severity.
Please let me know if I am not correct.

With proper debug tools, the developer should run a trace and find out what code path yields this error. I am not sure if you can entirely tag this as a low priority defect because it can compromise on user experience if the user has to click OK to bypass the dialog box.

Divya,
This question has already been discussed several times so simply search for the topic... as far as Installation bug is concerned , my vote goes to Behbood..
