Quality Engineer (TB-BR-01)

Qualification :    BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech/ MCA

Years of experience : 2-3 Years

Nature of experience: Working knowledge of API Testing and Black Box testing

Candidate should handle the following responsibilities:

 

·         Prepare/Update test cases based on the requirements.

·         Create Test Data/Test Stub.

·         Execute Test Cases.

·         Track Defects.

·         Setup Test Environment (if required).

·         Report test status & Collect metrics.

·         Ensure on-time delivery.

Job Requirements :

Essential skills:

·         Proficient in test scenario and test case writing.

·         Hands on exposure to the API based testing & Black box testing.

·         Good knowledge of core Java.

·         Writing Test stubs using Java.

·         Knowledge of integration testing.

·         Working knowledge of RDBMS & SQL queries.

·         Must possess good Analytical / Problem Solving skills.

·         Handle the Manual/automated testing of assigned components independently.

·         Defect tracking & defect life cycle.

·         Knowledge of tools for writing test cases, automation & defect tracking.

Desired skills:

·         Reporting & metrics.

·         Quality standards and Process knowledge.

·         Multi-tasking skills.

·         Performance / Load testing

Essential skills:

·         Domain knowledge in the projects worked/Functional Understandings

·         Usage of different types of testing & testing methodologies on Web applications.

·         Defect tracking & defect life cycle

·         Knowledge on software development life cycle of a project.

·         Knowledge of tools for writing test cases, automation & defect tracking.

·         Automation knowledge
