What should i know to be placed in MNC in Manual Testing profile. i have 2 years of experience.

As per best practices for functional testing services, to get place in MNC in Manual Testing profile with 2 years of experience, one should have knowledge about following:

1. Defect Writing
2. Defect regression
3. Severity and Priority of bugs
3. Test cases creation
4. Basic knowledge of at least 1 programming language
5. With 2 years of experience, one should also have leadership skills in order to handle the team in case of any need
6. Troubleshooting skills
7. Awared about QA Process and various types of Testing such as Functional testing, Regression testing, Sanity Testing, Smoke testing , etc
8. Capable of making test plan which is required to deliver a quality product to the client
9. Aware of SDLC and STLC Life cycles
10. Able to use some of the Bug reporting tools like Bugzilla, Jira, TFS, etc
11. Person should have worked on any of the technology based on the project requirement such as Jmeter for load/performance testing, Soapui/Postman for API testing, etc

As a person with long years of experience in manual software testing I would recommend you to acquire the following skillset:

  1. Prioritize
  2. Describe test cases
  3. Describe the checklists
  4. Allocate equivalence classes
  5. Describe bugs
  6. Choose tools
  7. Test Documentation
  8. Consider usage scenarios 

What to go deep: 

  1. Know SQL
  2. Test Web Applications
    HTML5, Web Developer ToolBar and others 
  3. Test mobile apps
    Mobile phones are our everything!
  4. Test games
    MMO, MMORPG, that's all
  5. Automate
    Selenium, Java, Ruby and other tricky words
  6. Conduct load testing
    JMeter and all that
  7. Test security
    SQL injections, XSS attacks and other delights of life
  8. Test usability
    The convenience of use
  9. Test localization
    Translation of the application into different languages, what to check
