Does any one have idea about Mainframe testing ?

Do i need to learn COBOL language to know abt Mainframe testing ?

To test mainframe application, you don't need to know COBOL until you are going for whitebox testing. And I guess you are talking about black box testing.

Hi Ramesh,

There is no need to learn cobol/JCL bcoz Mainframes testing is done on cics screen,whether it may be batch or online
