is it good starting career as a manual functionality tester?

i am a fresher just out of campus joined a reputed company as associate s/w engineer.

fortunately or unfortunately i am as a manual tester.

when i told about this many sail "testing!!! that to manual!!! its not a good area....."

is the above line true??

actually i also got placed in another reputed company

shall i join other company or this is gud......please suggest.....

Hi dude,

Its depend upon your interest. even manual testing is good. in between manual testing u can learn some automation tools too. after that ur growth will be more.

Hai Ankur, it depends on your interest.. if you dont find satisfaction as a tester better shift. Each dept. will have its own scope and significance but yes the PAY scale will vary and importance also when compared with Dev team.
