if were using quality center that time also we need version control tools

Hi friends

pls clarify my dobut in the company we need both version contol and test management tool .Any one of them is sufficent ? if necessary pls explain in brief at which time version control is necessary and test mangement is needed?

Hi,

As a tester, We are using QC for writing the test cases and integrating with test lab, it only make versioning of test cases. It wont make any versioning related to the code. For code related Versioning there will be seperate tool Like Synergy which is nothing but software Configuration Management.
