How to test a SQL Query in QTP With out using Database Checkpoints?

If i understood your question we can use first establising connection first and then getting the records from the database.

Set conn=CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")

Set rec=Createobject("ADODB.Recordset")

u should wirte  the script in Qtp it slef

and first create one object for ADODB and that u can wirte the SQL Quaries,Thanks
