Permalink Reply by Renu Tiwari on January 23, 2012 at 1:59pm High Severity & Low Priority : Suppose there is an application which generates some reports weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly by doing some calculations. In this application, there is a fault while calculating yearly report. Defect created middle of year (June ) .application release date is 30 July . so for this iteration release this defect priority is low and severity is high. Priority is low because we need this report at end of the year we have approx 4 month to resolve this issue and severity is high because its showing wrong data that can impact any client and customer . This is a high severity defect, low priority this fault can be fixed in the next release as a change request.
